Topic: Looking For Experienced Grow Personnel For ATC

Hi- I am putting together my application and related forms for the creation of an ATC/Dispensary.  I have some agricultural/gardening experience, but none in indoor cultivation, which is how my facility will be operated.  I am looking for experienced MMJ growers from existing MMJ states who are interested in a consulting position with my firm.   You must have at least 3 years indoor cultivation in a MMJ state, and would have to be willing to relocated for at least 6 months.

I am curious as to the extent of your business experience. Are you aware that the first 6 ATC's will operate as nonprofit entities? How will you address HIPPA laws? As far as I know, the applications have not yet been made available.
Obviously we share a common interest.

I have extensive business experience, as an owner of two small businesses.  I am fully aware of the regulations regarding the nfp status of the first ATC's.  As for HIPPA laws, I have several board members who are medical professionals and they are producing guidelines for HIPPA compliance.  Applications have not been made available, as the DCA and the DHSS are working on creating a listing of rules and regulations pertaining to the licensure and administration of the initial ATC's.  Best of luck to you in putting your plan together!

Hello Everyone,

I wouldn't go overboard with all the medical guidelines.  HIPPA is a federal guideline and since Dispensary's are illegal to the Federal Government your HIPPA compliance doesn't matter.  It's just good business sense to model your company against current legal standards.  One day in the future hopefully this will be in compliance with Federal Standards.

Also HIPPA on covers an entity that transmits peoples health information electronically.  In the beginning i doubt there will be an ATC doing this.  But then again, who knows.

I know this is wayyyy off the topic but I'm in northern new jersey and I could really use a better connect. Times are rough and I feel that, maybe... given the right connection we can help each other to stay afloat in this declining economy.
