Topic: The CannaLink Cancer Project
The CannaLink Cancer Project is an effort to document the effects of cannabis extract on disease, especially cancer.
Background
For millennia, cannabis has been used as medicine. It is only in the last 70 years that it's been prohibited. Interestingly enough, before that time, cancer was quite rare and lung cancer was almost unheard of. That may just be coincidence. But, it may be an indicator that cannabis inhibits the growth cancerous tumors.
A few years ago, a gentleman from Canada, Rick Simpson, claims to have begun treating cancer with a very simple extract of cannabis. His assertions are quite startling. Primarily, he claims that this easy-to-prepare extract will completely cure most cancers within 90 days. The only ingredients needed to make a 90 day supply are 2.5 gallons of 90%+ pure ethyl or isopropyl alcohol and a pound of dried cannabis buds, preferably from a strain of Cannabis Indica.
As amazing as his claims are, he offers very little proof or corroborating evidence to support them. Yet, he claims to have cured cancer in over 300 cases. He's made numerous videos on the subject and has a couple of web sites. But, in all this time, he has offered almost no actual proof that his techniques cure anything, at all. Not only has he offered no factual evidence that can be verified and substantiated, neither has anyone else.
Resolution
There is no way to know if cannabis extract has any effect on cancer, without seeing for ourselves. Therefore, I resolve to carry out an experiment to see for ourselves.
Simple enough.
Logistics
In order to prove whether cannabis extract is the miracle cure it's purported to be, we only need a few things. We need some medicine, some cancer patients and some means of verifying our results. That shouldn't be too difficult to manage and we will prove, once and for all, whether cannabis extract cures cancer or not.
Then, with evidence in hand, we can proceed to spread the amazing news that the cure for cancer, and a host of other diseases and conditions, was here all along.
Together, we can do this. It's not going to take a long time or a lot of money. We just need to take steps to make it happen.
