		<description><![CDATA[ASA filed an amicus brief in the Riverside case and wanted to be part of the oral argument. Unfortunately, in order for us to do that, the lead counsel in the case needed to approve it. David Nick and possibly the plaintiffs he was representing apparently did not want us to argue, despite our stated interest in doing so.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m just wondering why ASA&#039;s legal team i.e. Joe Elford, did not present the oral arguments for such an important case here in California? I realize they have a lot on their plate for ALL states but I just think this should have been a case that they personally handled considering this is a California Supreme Court decision.]]></description>
