From the Ukiah Daily Journal:

Mendocino County Sheriff Tom Allman has been ordered to give back 32 marijuana hash patties to two Redwood Valley defendants …  Henderson and Sutherland will receive 32 patties because the legal amount for a marijuana patient to have at the time of the seizure was eight ounces, according to the order, and four doctors’ recommendations were admitted as evidence in the case.

This is what more of, is needed. We, the people of California, need to start demanding that voted-in, State Law is the hierarchy for all to follow and adhere to. Just because you’re a gov’t official does not give you the right to immediately interpret law to your immediate convenience, or undermine the ‘will’ of The People.

Only we patient’s and caregivers can change their crash-course trajectory. Don’t give up! We need to bring the heat, and let them feel our fire. They play with the sanctity of our life’s well-being, and it is time it stops! Enough is enough, and it’s time to show ‘them’ how intolerable and unacceptable we feel about their objectives. The Law, is on our side! We, the People, demand that any and all gov’t officials be held accountable for their negligence upon Patient’s rights.

No city can prevent any patient from existing, nor their right to alleviation- by a personal choice! No city can prevent any single patient their right to cultivate and/or possess medicine. No city can prevent the formulation of a co-op. No city, PERIOD, can trump State Law. A city can prevent a store front/dispensary, but they sure CAN NOT prevent a legally operated/formulated collective. This is what our State has encouraged!

Adhere to Prop215 and Senate Bill 420; know it! It is your life-line. We are patients recognized by our state and fortified by our state. We have independent cities beginning to feel they can over-ride state law, and this, my fellow patients, is quite the contrary.

Do not be afraid to challenge when your rights have been violated. If we don’t, “They” win and we lose, not just a fight, but the battle for life.
